Barh, Bihar: NTPC Limited has elevated C. Satya Rama Krishna, currently Chief General Manager and Head of Project at NTPC Barh Super Thermal Power Station, to the position of Executive Director. The promotion recognizes his outstanding contribution to power generation, operations excellence, and leadership across multiple stations over a career spanning more than three decades.

1990 Batch NTPC Veteran with Strong Technical Background

A member of the 1990 Executive Trainee batch, C. Satya Rama Krishna joined NTPC Limited on October 26, 1990. He is an engineering graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science.

Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in:

  • Thermal power plant operations
  • Maintenance management
  • Fuel and ash handling systems
  • Business and operational leadership

Key Contributions Across Major NTPC Power Stations

During his long career, he has served at several major stations of NTPC Limited, including:

  • NTPC Ramagundam
  • NTPC Kudgi
  • NTPC Talcher Kaniha

In these roles, he handled critical responsibilities in operations, fuel handling, and operations & maintenance functions, contributing significantly to improved plant efficiency and reliability.
