New Delhi: In a significant step towards sustainability, NTPC Vindhyachal on Thursday flagged off its first dispatch of ash bricks under the dealership mode, reinforcing its commitment to environmentally responsible practices and circular economy initiatives. The launch aims to promote structured market outreach while ensuring optimal utilisation of fly ash generated at the thermal power station.
Ceremonial Dispatch and Leadership Presence
The ceremonial dispatch was led by Sanjib Kumar Saha, Chief General Manager (Vindhyachal), and witnessed by senior officials including AJ Rajkumar, General Manager (O&M); M Suresh, General Manager (Maintenance & ADM); Satendra Sinha, General Manager (Operation); and Ruma De Sharma, Head of HR (Vindhyachal). Officials highlighted the initiative as a milestone in NTPC Vindhyachal’s efforts to convert industrial by-products into value-added products for the construction sector.
Promoting Circular Economy and Sustainable Construction
The dealership mode for ash bricks is part of NTPC’s larger circular economy framework, aimed at effective utilisation of fly ash while creating sustainable building materials for the market. The initiative is expected to strengthen the station’s outreach, improve value realisation from by-products, and encourage environmentally responsible construction practices.

NTPC Vindhyachal acknowledged the contribution of the CC-OS team for their coordination and support, which was crucial in successfully implementing the initiative. The move also aligns with NTPC’s strategic goals of promoting green energy solutions and resource efficiency across its operations.
