Patna: The wife of an IPS officer who previously served as Patna City SP was hospitalised after allegedly attempting suicide at her residence in the Airport police station area of Patna. She was initially taken to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) by the driver of a police vehicle and was later shifted to a private hospital in the Danapur-Saguna Mor area.
According to information available from hospital sources, the woman was brought to the IGIMS emergency department in an unconscious condition on Thursday evening. She received initial medical treatment before her family moved her to a private hospital for further care.

The woman was reportedly found in an unresponsive condition at the residence while the IPS officer was not present there at the time of the incident.
She was taken to IGIMS in a police vehicle by the driver stationed at the residence.
