PESB Recommends Paresh R. Ranpara as Director (Personnel) of NHPC Limited After Competitive Selection Process 

The Public Enterprises Selection Board has shortlisted senior HR leader Paresh R. Ranpara for the top personnel role at NHPC Limited following interviews of multiple PSU candidates across power, telecom, and steel sectors.

New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended  Paresh R. Ranpara for appointment as Director (Personnel) at NHPC Limited. The recommendation was made during PESB Meeting No. 36/2026 held on May 12, 2026.

The position is a key HR leadership role in one of India’s leading hydropower public sector enterprises.

Senior HR Leader with 28+ Years of Experience

 Paresh R. Ranpara is currently serving as Director (Human Resources) at Grid Controller of India Limited (formerly POSOCO).

He brings over 28 years of experience in the public sector power industry, with a strong background in:

  • HR transformation and policy development
  • Organisational restructuring
  • Manpower planning and workforce management
  • Leadership and succession planning
  • Employee engagement and performance systems

He has worked extensively in Gujarat’s power sector and has also gained private sector experience early in his career.
