New Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a major reshuffle in its senior leadership, promoting Raman Grover to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief General Manager, Finance Division at the bank’s Head Office.
Grover previously held the role of General Manager, Finance Division. A seasoned banker with over 26 years of experience, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, is a Chartered Accountant, and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
Top Officials Superannuated
As part of the leadership transition, the bank also confirmed the retirement of two senior executives, effective August 31, 2025:
- Mr. Dilip Kumar Jain – Former CFO and CGM, Finance Division
- Mr. Sameer Bajpai – CGM, Data Privacy and Management Division
Their departure marks the end of decades of dedicated service to the institution.

PNB also appointed the following senior officers to new leadership positions across strategic departments:
Deepak Kumar Mr.vastava
- New Role: Zonal Manager-CGM, Zonal Office, Mumbai
- Qualifications: B.A. (Sociology), MBA (Personnel Management), CAIIB
- Experience: 32+ years in banking
Sumesh Kumar
- New Role: Chief General Manager, Head Office – HRD
- Qualifications: M.A., CAIIB
- Experience: 32+ years
Deepak Kumar
- New Role: General Manager, Corporate Communication Division, HO
- Qualifications: B.Sc., MBA, CAIIB
- Experience: 25+ years
