On the occasion, he claimed that the state government has now provided 67,037 government jobs since coming to power.

The Chief Minister highlighted that all recruitments have been conducted strictly on merit, without recommendation or corruption, ensuring equal opportunity for all eligible candidates.

355 Youth Receive Government Appointment Letters

During a formal ceremony, 355 selected candidates received their appointment letters from the Chief Minister. He congratulated the new recruits and said that joining government service is not just employment but an opportunity to serve the public.

He added that the government will continue to conduct recruitment drives across various departments to strengthen public services and provide more employment opportunities for the youth.

67,037 Government Jobs Claimed Through Transparent Recruitment

Bhagwant Mann stated that since his government took office, 67,037 youths have been appointed to government positions. He described this as a major achievement for youth employment in the state.

He emphasized that all appointments were made purely on merit, with no political interference, recommendations, or corruption involved in the recruitment process.

Punjab’s Recruitment Model Praised for Transparency

The Chief Minister said that Punjab has set a national example in fair recruitment and education standards. He claimed that unlike other regions where paper leak incidents damage trust in examinations, Punjab has prioritized clean and transparent selection processes.

According to him, the state’s focus on honesty in recruitment helps ensure that deserving candidates get fair opportunities.

Focus on Education and Employment Reform

The government, he said, is continuously working to improve both education and employment systems in the state. The aim is to ensure that talented youth are not forced to migrate to other states or countries for jobs.

He stressed that strengthening education and recruitment systems is key to building a self-reliant and skilled workforce in Punjab.

Advice to New Recruits: Prioritize Public Service

Addressing the newly appointed employees, the Chief Minister urged them to prioritize the needs of citizens, especially senior citizens and those visiting government offices for assistance.

He said government employees serve as a crucial link between the administration and the public, and timely, efficient service delivery should be their top responsibility.

The recruitment drive led by Bhagwant Mann reflects the Punjab government’s continued emphasis on transparent governance and youth employment. With over 67,000 jobs reportedly provided, the administration maintains that its focus remains on merit-based recruitment and strengthening public service delivery in Punjab.
