Punjab Government Transfers 50 IAS, PCS Officers; IAS Nikas Kumar Posted as DC, Amritsar

In a bureaucratic reshuffled in Chandigarh, 50 Indian Administrative Service and Provincial Civil Service officers have been transferred and posted with immediate effect, according to an official order.

Some of the prominent names on the list are:

2016 batch IAS officer Parminder Pal Singh has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Punjab Backward Classes Land Development (BACKFINCO) and Executive Director, Finance Corporation. He was Project Director and Additional Secretary of School Education.

2020 batch IAS Nikas Kumar will be the new Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar. He replaced Amandeep Kaur-II PCS.

Harjot Kaur, PCS of 2012 batch, has now been posted as State Transport Commissioner in Punjab against vacant post. She was Joint Director, Local Government.

While Kulpreet Singh, PCS 2014 batch, will be placed at the Disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Phagwara.

Whereas Poonam Preet Kaur, PCS 2016 batch, will be Sub Divisional Magistrate of Tapa. PCS Sarbjeet Kaur of 2016 batch will be the Deputy Secretary of Excise and Taxation. She was Assistant Excise Commissioner of SAS Nagar.

Harjot Kaur, PCS of 2022 batch, has been posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sri Anandpur Sahib.

2023 batch PCS, Sukhraj Singh Dhillon, has been posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Fatehpur Churian in place of Beant Singh Sindhu, PCS.
