New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the Nirmal Chhaya Complex to review ongoing initiatives aimed at the empowerment of women and welfare of children. During her visit, she interacted with women working at Mahila Haat, Samarth Anganwadi, and Sankalp Hub, appreciating their dedication, self-reliance, and inspiring efforts towards social impact.
Promoting Education and Health for Children and Mothers
During her visit, CM Gupta engaged directly with children, encouraging their education and overall development. She distributed school bags and essential educational materials to the children to support their learning. In addition, mothers were provided with health kits aimed at promoting better health and wellness, ensuring a holistic approach to family well-being.
The initiative reflects the Delhi government’s focus on inclusive development, addressing both educational and health needs of children and mothers in the community.

In a significant step towards strengthening child welfare systems, CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated the Juvenile Justice Management Information Portal. The portal aims to:

- Strengthen the child welfare system across the city
- Ensure better protection of children’s rights through digital monitoring
