Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has issued an open tender for the appointment of a conversion agent to process 90×90 mm billets into flats at its Rourkela facility. The tender, published on the Government of India e-Procurement portal, aims to facilitate efficient billet-to-flat conversion under a rate contract valid for 730 days.

The contract involves the processing of 500 MT per month, totaling 6,000 MT annually. Eligible bidders must be re-rollers with their own rolling mills—leased units are not permitted—and have a minimum production capacity of 10,000 MT per year, with capabilities to process semis into flats, structurals, rounds, and squares.
