New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has appointed Deepak Mohanty as a Non-Official (Independent) Director on its Board of Directors for a period of three years, with immediate effect.
The appointment was conveyed by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, through an order dated October 6, 2026. The appointment was approved by the President of India and will remain effective for three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The appointment follows a directive from the Railway Board under the Ministry of Railways.

RVNL said it is taking the necessary steps to complete the appointment formalities in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable SEBI regulations.

Appointment Complies With SEBI Regulations
The appointment has been made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
RVNL has informed both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and BSE Limited about the appointment.
The order was signed by Shailendra Kumar Sharma, Director (PSU), Railway Board, while Kalpana Dubey, Company Secretary, RVNL, confirmed the regulatory filing on behalf of the company.
RVNL to Submit Further Director Profile Details
The company said requisite disclosures related to Deepak Mohanty’s profile will be submitted in due course.
RVNL is also completing the necessary procedural and statutory requirements associated with his appointment to the Board.
