New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has entrusted Neeti Sarkar (IRAS) with the additional charge of Director (Finance) on the company’s Board. Sarkar is currently serving as Principal Executive Director (Finance) at RVNL.
The decision was conveyed through a Ministry of Railways order dated September 29, 2026. She will take on the additional responsibility alongside her existing role, effective from the date she assumes charge and until further orders.
Neeti Sarkar Entrusted With Additional Charge at RVNL
According to the Railway Board order, Neeti Sarkar, an officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of Director (Finance), RVNL.

The Ministry of Railways has also specified that the entrustment is subject to approval from the Competent Authority.
RVNL to Complete Regulatory Formalities
RVNL has stated that it is taking the necessary steps in connection with the appointment and related formalities.
The company will make the required disclosures regarding the formal appointment in due course.

Neeti Sarkar’s Role at RVNL
As Principal Executive Director (Finance), Neeti Sarkar is already associated with RVNL’s financial functions. With the additional charge, she will also oversee the responsibilities associated with the Director (Finance) position until further orders.
The arrangement will remain effective from the date she assumes charge, subject to the approval of the Competent Authority.
