Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met a group of young people who are scheduled to visit Haryana and encouraged them to learn about the state’s culture, development work and local practices during their visit.
The interaction took place at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office on Tuesday. Dhami extended his best wishes to the youth and said interstate visits provide an opportunity to understand different parts of the country more closely.
CM Encourages Youth to Learn From Haryana
Dhami asked the visiting group to explore Haryana’s culture, history, food, sporting traditions, agriculture and local lifestyle.

He also encouraged them to interact with local youth, sportspersons, farmers and people working in different fields to understand their experiences and practices.
The Chief Minister said young people visiting other states should observe development initiatives, innovations and practices followed there and share relevant experiences in Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand to Host Youth From Other States
Dhami said Uttarakhand is also providing opportunities for young people from other states to visit the state.
According to the Chief Minister, visiting youth will be introduced to Uttarakhand’s culture, tourism, local products and development work.
He also encouraged the Uttarakhand youth travelling to Haryana to showcase aspects of their home state, including folk festivals, local cuisine, homestays, millets, handicrafts and tourist destinations.
Focus on Local Products and Self-Help Groups
Dhami highlighted the role of young people in promoting products made by women’s self-help groups and local artisans.
The interaction focused on using interstate youth visits as an opportunity for cultural exchange and exposure to different approaches to development and local economic activities.
