New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) worth ₹221.33 crore from the South East Central Railway for a major railway infrastructure modernization project in the Bilaspur Division.
The announcement was made in compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, and disclosed to both the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Comprehensive EPC Project for Signaling and Infrastructure Upgrade
The project has been awarded on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis and involves large-scale modernization of signaling and telecommunication systems across multiple stations.
Key components of the project include:
- Replacement of panel interlocking with electronic interlocking systems
- Installation of indoor and outdoor signaling equipment
- Development of OFC huts and telecom infrastructure
- Construction of Signal & Telecommunication (S&T) service buildings
- Electrification of S&T service buildings
- Cabling work across multiple block sections
Stations Covered Under the Project
The modernization work will be carried out across several stations in the Bilaspur Division, including:
BSPR, KLPG, ABKP, MZH, HRV, PRDL, KTMA, BJRI, KJZ, MDGR, CHRM, GTK, KLTR, PLAU, and KBS.

RVNL Confirms No Conflict of Interest
RVNL stated that the project is part of its normal course of business and aligns with its core expertise in railway infrastructure development, particularly in signaling and electrification systems.
The company also clarified that:
- No promoter or group company has any interest in the awarding entity
- The contract is not a related-party transaction
- The deal has been executed on an arm’s length basis
