Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the cooperative sector is the backbone of the state’s rural economy, and the government is continuously working to strengthen it by empowering farmers, rural communities, and small entrepreneurs.
He said cooperatives are not just an institutional system but a collective platform for social upliftment, which is now being transformed through modern technology, transparency, and public participation.
4,536 PACS Computerised for Transparency and Efficiency
The Chief Minister announced that more than 4,536 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in the state have been successfully computerised.
This major digital transformation aims to ensure:
