New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially launched the ‘Saksham Yatra 2026’ today, a flagship initiative aimed at identifying grassroots innovations and providing local talent with a global platform. The program will offer mentorship and financial support through ‘Kaamyab Grants’, helping startups transform ideas into real-world impact.

Saksham Yatra: Empowering Local Innovators

The initiative, starting from Delhi, seeks to recognize and nurture emerging ideas from across the region. During the flag-off ceremony, CM Rekha Gupta encouraged young innovators, emphasizing that the program will provide both visibility and the resources necessary for their ideas to flourish.

“The primary goal of Saksham Yatra is to give local talent a platform where their ideas are not only heard but supported with mentorship and guidance,” said CM Gupta.

Bridging the Gap Between Ideas and Implementation

CM Gupta highlighted that many innovative solutions fail to scale due to the lack of proper platforms or implementation strategies. “Initiatives like Saksham Yatra help bridge the gap between innovation and real-world application,” she said. The program aims to bring community-based solutions into the mainstream, ensuring practical impact.

Inclusive Development Across Northern India

The Yatra will travel through key cities in North India, including Ayodhya, Lucknow, Mathura, Agra, and Jaipur, before returning to Delhi. Alongside the Chief Minister, academics like Ajay Gupta and other dignitaries accompanied the journey, providing insights and guidance to participating startups.

The program will also extend financial aid and mentorship through Kaamyab Grants, encouraging innovations that can drive positive societal change.

Promoting Innovation and Social Impact

Saksham Yatra 2026 represents a strategic effort to support grassroots innovation, connect emerging startups with mentors, and create solutions that have a tangible impact on society.

With Delhi as its hub, the initiative is expected to inspire young innovators across the region and provide the tools necessary to transform ideas into successful ventures.
