New Delhi: Mr. Satyanarain Gupta (ITS-1993), currently serving as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL), Delhi, has been given the additional charge of CVO of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL), Visakhapatnam. The appointment will take effect from December 12, 2025, and will remain in force for a period of one year, or until a regular CVO is appointed, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Approval by Competent Authority
The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, has issued the official order approving the assignment. This step ensures continuity in vigilance oversight at RINL, one of India’s leading steel manufacturing companies.
Mr. Gupta, an officer of the Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) 1993 batch, brings extensive experience in vigilance administration and corporate governance, having led vigilance initiatives at SAIL with efficiency and integrity.
