Bilaspur: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Director (Technical–Projects & Planning), Nripendra Nath, visited the company’s Dipka Area and conducted a comprehensive review of mining operations and ongoing operational activities. The visit focused on assessing work progress, reviewing site arrangements and emphasising the importance of safety and operational efficiency.
SECL Director Inspects Departmental and Contractual Mining Operations
During the visit, Nripendra Nath inspected both departmental and contractual workings in the Dipka Area. He took stock of ongoing mining and operational activities to assess their progress and overall operational readiness.
The inspection provided an opportunity to review work at the site and assess the status of activities being carried out by departmental teams and contractors.

Demolition Work at Darrakhancha Reviewed
As part of the visit, Nath inspected the demolition site at Darrakhancha, located near Hardibazar village. He reviewed the progress of the demolition work and examined the related arrangements at the site.
The on-site review focused on assessing the status of the ongoing work and ensuring that the associated activities were being monitored appropriately.
SECL Director Emphasises Safety and Operational Efficiency
During his interaction with the Dipka Area team, Nripendra Nath stressed the need to ensure the safe and efficient execution of all activities.
He directed the concerned teams to closely monitor operational work to maintain smooth and secure operations. His emphasis on safety and efficiency highlighted the importance of continuous supervision and adherence to safe working practices across mining and related activities.
The visit formed part of the operational review of the Dipka Area, with attention to ongoing mining work, demolition activities and the effective management of site operations.
