In a significant development, Jaspal Singh, an IPS officer of 1996 batch from the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as the Special Commissioner of Delhi Police.
This appointment marks a pivotal moment in Singh’s illustrious career, having previously served as the Director General of Police (DGP) for Goa Police.
Recently, he was transferred to Delhi. The order in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), New Delhi.
Mr Singh brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in law enforcement, garnered over decades of service in various capacities. His tenure as DGP of Goa Police was characterized by proactive measures against crime and initiatives to enhance public safety.
