Telangana Govt Transfers 45 IAS Officers in Major Reshuffle, Sanjay Kumar to Rural Development, N. Sridhar to ITE&C

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced a major reshuffle, transferring 45 IAS officers across key departments and administrative posts. The move involves top-level officials, including Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, District Collectors, and other senior officers.

Sanjay Kumar Moves to Rural Development

Sanjay Kumar, formerly Special Chief Secretary, Industries and IT (ITE&C) Department, has been posted as Special Chief Secretary, Rural Development (RD), Rural Water Supply & Sanitation (RWS&S), and Rural Sanitation & Drinking Water (RSAD) Department, transferring N. Sridhar.

N. Sridhar has been reassigned as Principal Secretary, ITE&C and Industries & Commerce Departments, while retaining the Full Additional Charge (FAC) post of Principal Secretary, Mines & Geology.

Flagship Welfare and CSR Leadership Changes

Sabyasachi Ghosh, Special Chief Secretary to Government, Implementation of Flagship Welfare and Developmental Schemes Unit, has been redesignated to include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) responsibilities in addition to his current role.

Labour, Disaster Management, and Political Administration

  • M. Dana Kishore, Special Chief Secretary, Labour, Employment, Training and Factories (LET&F), now holds FAC as Special Chief Secretary, Disaster Management, Revenue Department, replacing Arvind Kumar.
  • Rahul Bojja, Principal Secretary, Irrigation & CAD, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Political, General Administration Department, and also holds FAC for BC Welfare, transferring responsibilities from E. Sridhar.
  • E. Sridhar has been transferred as Secretary, Irrigation & CAD Department.

Key Finance and Planning Transfers

Dr. Gaurav Uppal, previously Secretary, Coordination (GoI Projects & CSS), Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, is now Secretary, Finance & Planning Department, and also holds FAC as Managing Director, Telangana Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGMSIDC), transferring G. Phaneendra Reddy.

District Collectors and Local Administration Reshuffle

Several key District Collector posts and local administration roles have seen changes:

  • B. Vijiendra, Mahabubnagar Collector → Secretary, TGSWREIS & Commissioner, SC Development, replacing Krishna Aditya S & Sabyasachi Ghosh.
  • D. Divya, CEO SERP → FAC as State Nodal Officer, Prajavani, transferring P. Katyayani Devi.
  • Adwait Kumar Singh, Mahabubabad Collector → Special Secretary, Coordination (GoI Projects & CSS), Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, transferring Dr. Gaurav Uppal.
  • M. Hanumantha Rao, Yadadri Bhuvagiri Collector → Director, Endowments, also holding FAC as Special Officer, Godavari Pushkaralu.
  • Sikta Patnaik, Narayanpet Collector → Special Secretary, Finance Department.
  • Sandeep Kumar Jha, GHMC Zonal Commissioner, Qutbullapur → Jangaon Collector.
  • Pamela Satpathy, Karimnagar Collector → Special Commissioner, Labour Department.
  • Anuraag Jayanti, GHMC Zonal Commissioner, Rajendranagar → Yadadri Bhuvanagir Collector.
