2022 batch IPS officer Mahadik Akshay Sanjay of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre has been given inter-cadre transfer from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre to the Uttar Pradesh cadre. This transfer has been granted on the grounds of his marriage to Ms. Chandni Singh IFoS (Uttar Pradesh 2022).
On the other hand, another IPS officer of 2021 batch, IPS Bhaware Diksha Arun of Bihar cadre, has also been given inter cadre transfer from Bihar cadre to Uttar Pradesh cadre on the grounds of her marriage with Bhosale Vinayak Gopal IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2022).
