Two Retired IPS Officers Launch Books on Unique Encounters and Experiences

Two distinguished retired IPS officers, MA Ganapathi (1986 batch) and Prakash Mishra (1977 batch), are stepping into the world of writing with their highly anticipated debut books. Drawing from their illustrious careers in law enforcement, both authors promise readers captivating stories that blend their real-life experiences with gripping narratives.

MA Ganapathi’s Paranormal Thriller

Former NSG chief and UP cadre IPS officer MA Ganapathi has released his debut book, Whispers in the Shadows: Paranormal Encounters of a Policeman. The book follows the story of Avinash, an upright cop who experiences supernatural events during his relentless pursuit of justice. With hair-raising episodes inspired by real-life, chilling events, the book delves into encounters that defy logic and challenge the boundaries of belief.

Speaking to Indian Masterminds, Ganapathi expressed his excitement, saying, “I am delighted to inform you that my debut book, Whispers in the Shadows, is now available in the market.”

Prakash Mishra’s Upcoming Release

Another retired IPS officer Prakash Mishra, a former CRPF chief and Odisha DGP, is also venturing into the world of writing. Mishra, who contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket, will release his book on January 11. While the specifics of the book remain under wraps, it is expected to reflect his extensive career and experiences in policing. Mishra’s transition from a top cop to an author marks an exciting new chapter in his life after years of public service.
