The government of Uttar Pradesh has recently mandated the transfer and posting of three IPS officers in the Lucknow Commissionerate as Deputy Commissioners of Police have been assigned their new responsibilities.
IPS Aparna Gupta (2015 batch) has been appointed as DCP of Women Crime and Security. She earlier served as the SP of Mahoba. Mr. Anil Kumar Yadav (2018 batch) has been posted as the DCP of Police Headquarters (PHQ). He was earlier posted as an Additional DCP in the Police Commissionerate of Gautam Buddh Nagar. Both officers were transferred to the Lucknow Commissionerate on September 10th.
IPS Ram Nayan Singh, last posted as DCP in PHQ, has been reassigned as the DCP of the North Division.
