In a bid to enhance arrangements for the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the state government has appointed 28 officers, including three IAS and 25 PCS officers from the 2021 batch. These officers will work under the supervision of Dr. Ashish Kumar Goyal, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation, to ensure smooth and efficient operations during the religious event.
The officers have been instructed to immediately proceed to Prayagraj and take charge, where they will remain until February 17, 2025, to assist with the coordination of various activities. Their deployment highlights the importance of maintaining order and safety during the Mahakumbh, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.
