Policy-Guided Cadre Allocation Begins After Results
After the final results were announced on April 22, the government initiated the cadre allocation process. The allocation is conducted through a structured policy framework that considers candidate rank, preferences, reservation category, insider–outsider norms and vacancy availability.
This systematic approach aims to distribute officers across regions in a balanced manner, ensuring administrative strength in every state.
Top Rankers Receive Key Cadres
This year’s topper, Mr. Shakti Dubey, has been allotted his home cadre, Uttar Pradesh.
Rank 2 candidate, Ms. Harshita Goyal from Haryana, has been assigned to the Gujarat cadre.
The allocation reflects how merit and cadre preference are aligned with national administrative requirements.
