UPSC Declares IFS-2023 Results, Ritvika Pandey Tops, Check The List Here

A total number of 147 candidates have been selected for appointment under different categories

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the Indian Forest Service (IFS)-2023 results, showcasing the top performers who have been recommended for appointment to prestigious positions.

Ritvika Pandey secured the top position in the exam, followed by Kale Pratiksha Nanasaheb in second place, and Swastic Yaduvanshi in third.

A combined total of 147 candidates have been suggested for appointment across various categories.

The commission has informed that the candidature of 51 candidates is provisional. The marks of these candidates will be made available within 15 days from the date of result declaration.

Candidates who appeared in the examination can check the result on the official website at upsc.gov.in or can check their roll number in below PDF.

According to a statement released by the UPSC, among the successful candidates, 43 belong to the General category, 20 are from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 51 are from the Other Backward Class (OBC), 22 are from the Scheduled Castes (SCs), and 11 are from the Scheduled Tribes (STs).

The rigorous selection process, spanning from 26th November to 1st May, comprised a written examination followed by personality interviews.

In a notification, UPSC said, “Based on the result of the written part of the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2023 held by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION from 26th November to 03rd December, 2023, and the interviews for Personality Test held from 22nd April to 1st May, 2024, following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the posts in Indian Forest Service.”

To check the results of IFS-2022 Exam on UPSC Website, candidates can follow the steps given below –

  • -First of all, go to the official website – upsc.gov.in., Then click on the ‘Final Result’ segment
  • -After that, click on the Examination Final Results and download a PDF file for IFS Result
  • -After that, search your roll number in it
  • -If you have been selected, then the roll number will appear

The Centre had reported 150 vacancies to be filled through the examination.

Union Public Service Commission has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near Examination Hall Building in its Campus. Candidates may obtain any information/ clarification regarding their Examination/ Recruitments on working days between 10:00 A.M. and 05:00 P.M. in person or over Telephone Nos.011-23385271 / 23381125. The result will also be available on Commission’s Website, i.e., www.upsc.gov.in. However, marks of candidates shall be made available on the Commission’s Website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result.

Appointments to the Indian Forest Service will be made by the Government in accordance with the available vacancies and the fulfillment of eligibility conditions as per the established rules and regulations. The UPSC emphasizes the importance of thorough verification procedures to ensure the integrity and credibility of the selection process.

With the release of the merit list, the journey towards a fulfilling career in the Indian Forest Service begins for the recommended candidates.
