The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the dates for the mains examination of Indian Forest Service (IFS) Recruitment 2023. The mains examination will take place from November 26 to December 3, 2023.
According to the information given in the notification by Commission, the exam will be conducted on 26, 28, 29, 30 November 2023 and 01, 02 and 03 December 2023 at the designated examination centres. Only those candidates who were successful in the preliminary examination will be able to appear in the Mains Exam.
The exams will be conducted in two shifts: the morning session running from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Aspirants can access the exam schedule on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
The exam will be held across various cities including Bhopal, Delhi, Chennai, Dispur (Guwahati), Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Port Blair, Nagpur, and Shimla.
Admit cards of selected candidates for UPSC Mains Exam 2023 will be released soon.
More than 14 thousand candidates had passed the prelims exam of IFS 2023. Whereas, if we talk about vacancies in Indian Forest Service, according to the information till now, there are 150 vacant posts to be filled in this department (UPSC IFS Vacancy 2023).
Candidates will be able to download the admit card by following the steps given here –
- To download UPSC Main Exam Admit Card, first of all you have to visit the official website upsc.gov.in.
- As soon as the admit card is released on the home page of the website, the link will be activated, click on it. (Or spot the What’s New section at the right-hand side on home page)
- In what’s New section, click on the link for the UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023 timetable
- After this you will have to enter the requested details (login credentials).
- As soon as you submit the information, your admit card will open on the screen in PDF format, from where you can download it and take a printout of it.
Candidates should keep in mind that whenever they go to the center for the exam, they must carry the admit card and a valid identity card with them. Without the admit card and identity card, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
