Raipur: Education is the cornerstone of social transformation and overall development, said Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai while attending the oath-taking ceremony of the Chhattisgarh State Sarva Ravidas Samaj at the Farmers’ Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur. The Chief Minister administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers and extended his best wishes.

Education: The First Step Toward Success

Highlighting the crucial role of education in shaping society, business, agriculture, and everyday life, Chief Minister Sai emphasized that academic empowerment forms the basis of progress in every sector. He noted that Chhattisgarh has made remarkable strides in higher education infrastructure.

“When the state was formed, only one medical college existed. Today, around 15 medical colleges are functioning here,” he said. He also pointed to the establishment of premier institutions like IIT, IIIT, IIM, AIIMS, Law University, and CIPET, which have expanded opportunities for local youth.

Strong and United Society Needed for Nation-Building

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of unity and social strength. He reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guiding mantra – “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” – stating that the government has been working for the upliftment of all sections of society over the past 23 months.

Major Welfare Initiatives Highlighted

Chief Minister Sai outlined several key initiatives launched by the government in recent months –

  • Kisan Unnati Yojana to support farmers

He further shared that over 10,000 youth have received appointment letters across various departments and that PSC examinations have been conducted with full transparency, boosting confidence among young aspirants.

Industrial Policy to Boost Employment

The Chief Minister said that a new industrial policy has been implemented to generate more employment and self-employment opportunities for the people of Chhattisgarh.

He urged the community to take maximum benefit from government schemes and work towards bringing positive changes in their lives.
