KOLKATA: The West Bengal government has reshuffled 11 IAS officers of the 2021 batch, assigning them new responsibilities across district administration, the state secretariat and development authorities.
Among the key changes, Abhishek Shukla has been posted as Additional Director, State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), while Dhumal Pratik Ashok has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), DSDA.
The latest order also brings changes in the posts of Additional District Magistrates (ADMs) across several districts, besides a posting in the Office of the Chief Secretary.
Abhishek Shukla Posted as Additional Director, SUDA
Abhishek Shukla (IAS:2021) has been transferred and posted as Additional Director, State Urban Development Agency (SUDA).
The posting places him in the state government’s urban development framework, where SUDA is involved in implementing and supporting various urban development programmes.
Dhumal Pratik Ashok Named CEO, DSDA
Dhumal Pratik Ashok (IAS:2021) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, DSDA.
The latest assignment gives him responsibility for the functioning of the development authority and its associated administrative and developmental activities.
Subhankar Bala Posted as ADM, Paschim Medinipur
Subhankar Bala (IAS:2021) has been transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Paschim Medinipur.
His new role will involve assisting the district administration in handling various administrative and developmental responsibilities.
Other IAS Officers Get District-Level Postings
The reshuffle also includes several changes in the district administration.
Ahimsa Jain (IAS:2021) has been transferred and posted as ADM, North 24 Parganas, while Dr. Subham Maurya (IAS:2021) has been appointed ADM, Alipurduar.
Priya Yadav (IAS:2021) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Office of the Chief Secretary, giving her a key assignment at the state secretariat.
Meanwhile, Bharat Singh (IAS:2021) has been appointed ADM, Jhargram, and Manzar Hussain Anjum (IAS:2021) has been posted as ADM (LR), Kalimpong.
The government has also appointed Vivek Pankaj (IAS:2021) as ADM, Hooghly, while Mithun Biswas (IAS:2021)has been posted as ADM, Paschim Bardhaman.
Ravi Kumar (IAS:2021) has been transferred and posted as ADM, Howrah.
