  • Bankura
  • West Midnapore
  • Howrah
  • Jalpaiguri
  • South 24 Parganas

These changes are expected to improve district-level governance and implementation of state schemes.

Aim to Strengthen Governance Efficiency

The reshuffle is part of routine administrative restructuring intended to improve coordination between departments and enhance service delivery across urban and rural areas of West Bengal.

Officials believe the new postings will help accelerate ongoing development projects and improve administrative responsiveness.

Administrative Reorganisation to Strengthen Governance

The reshuffle reflects the state government’s ongoing efforts to optimise administrative performance by repositioning officers across critical departments and districts.

Authorities expect the new postings to improve operational efficiency in municipal services, consumer affairs, textiles administration, and district governance across West Bengal.
