The government of West Bengal has recently promoted senior IAS officer, Mr. Dushyant Nariala, to the grade of APEX Scale of IAS with effect from September 1st.
Officer Nariala (1993 batch IAS officer) is the incumbent Principal Secretary of the Disaster Management & Civil Defence Department with additional charge of the Irrigation & Waterways Department. With his promotion, he will now hold the position of Additional Chief Secretary while continuing to oversee the same responsibilities. Mr. Nariala had earlier served as Principal Secretary in the North Bengal Development Department.
