Gorakhpur: On March 6, Yogi Adityanath met nearly 200 people during a public hearing (Janata Darshan) at Gorakhnath Temple. He assured citizens that all genuine grievances, including requests for financial assistance for serious medical treatments, would be addressed promptly.

Financial Aid for Serious Illnesses

During the session, several individuals sought government support for treatment of severe illnesses, including cancer. CM Yogi instructed officials to obtain cost estimates (estimates) from higher-level hospitals for such patients.

He directed that:

  • The Chief Minister’s discretionary fund will cover treatment expenses.
  • Officials must expedite the process of submitting estimates to ensure quick disbursal.
  • Every patient in need will receive adequate financial assistance.

Held at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan inside the temple complex, the Janata Darshan allowed citizens to present their grievances personally.

  • Petitions and requests were submitted to the concerned officials on the spot.
  • CM Yogi reassured attendees that no one should feel neglected or anxious.

Support for Education and Social Welfare

During the public hearing, a young girl highlighted financial difficulties in paying her school fees. CM Yogi promptly instructed officials to arrange for her educational expenses.

Similarly, a woman from Siddharthnagar seeking pension benefits and other government welfare schemes was assured assistance, with officials directed to ensure she receives her entitlements.

CM Yogi’s Directive for Officers

CM Yogi emphasized:

  • Officers should adopt a sensitive and proactive approach to resolve citizens’ grievances.
  • Any eligible individual not receiving benefits under government welfare schemes must be immediately enrolled.
  • There should be no delay or negligence in addressing legitimate requests.

BJP Foundation Day Celebrations

In addition to the Janata Darshan, CM Yogi also participated in the BJP Foundation Day at the Hindu Seva Ashram within the Gorakhnath Temple premises. He hoisted the party flag and took a group selfie with party leaders, including Ravi Kishan, demonstrating political engagement alongside public welfare initiatives.

CM Yogi’s Vision: Responsive Governance

The public hearing underscores CM Yogi Adityanath’s focus on people-centric governance, ensuring timely assistance for health, education, and social welfare. Through initiatives like these, the state government aims to provide direct relief and support to every needy citizen, fostering trust and accountability in governance.
