Despite religious engagements on the first Monday of Sawan and official responsibilities during the monsoon session, the Chief Minister prioritised public service and personally interacted with citizens.

During the programme, CM Yogi received applications from people, forwarded them to concerned officials and directed authorities to ensure time-bound, transparent and quality resolution of every complaint.

Strict Warning on Delay in Police Action

Several complaints related to police matters were received during the Janata Darshan programme. CM Yogi expressed displeasure over complaints regarding delays in arrests, pressure in legal cases and negligence in taking action against accused persons.

The Chief Minister clearly stated that any laxity in dealing with criminals or resolving public complaints would not be tolerated.

He directed senior officials to fix accountability of police officers, especially in districts where such complaints are being reported frequently.

Accountability of Police Officials to Be Ensured

CM Yogi instructed officials that strict action should be taken wherever negligence is found in police-related matters.

He said:

  • Criminals should face immediate action according to law
  • Victims should receive sensitive and fair treatment
  • Complaints should be resolved without unnecessary delay
  • Officials must remain accountable for public grievances

The Chief Minister stressed that protecting citizens’ rights and ensuring justice should remain the priority of the administration.

Focus on Revenue and Family Dispute Cases

During the interaction, CM Yogi also directed officials to pay special attention to revenue-related matters and other disputes affecting citizens.

For family disputes, he advised officials to first encourage dialogue and mutual understanding between the concerned parties before initiating legal proceedings.

The Chief Minister said efforts should be made to resolve issues through communication wherever possible while ensuring legal action in necessary cases.

Public Service Remains Government’s Priority

Through the Janata Darshan programme, CM Yogi reiterated that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to providing responsive and citizen-centric governance.

He directed officials across departments to work with responsibility and ensure that every person approaching the administration receives proper attention and timely assistance.

The Chief Minister said public problems must be addressed with transparency, sensitivity and accountability so that citizens receive satisfactory solutions.
