The projects include 83 completed works inaugurated by the Chief Minister and foundation stones laid for 185 new projects. During the programme at the Muhammadabad Mandi Ground, CM Yogi also distributed approval letters and certificates to beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s development and welfare initiatives while also targeting opposition parties over issues including law and order, nationalism and the alleged glorification of foreign invaders.

According to the details shared during the programme, the projects are expected to strengthen:

  • Roads and connectivity
  • Drinking water facilities
  • Education infrastructure

  • Rural development
  • Urban amenities
  • Other basic public facilities

  • Ghazipur Sadar
  • Jakhania
  • Muhammadabad
  • Saidpur
  • Zamania
  • Zahoorabad
  • Jangipur

The initiatives aim to expand basic facilities in both rural and urban areas while accelerating infrastructure development across the district.

A large number of public representatives, administrative officials and local residents attended the programme.

Welfare Scheme Beneficiaries Receive Certificates

During the event, CM Yogi distributed approval letters and certificates to eligible beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the support received through government programmes.

The Chief Minister said the Uttar Pradesh government is working to ensure that welfare schemes reach eligible citizens and that development benefits are extended across every district.

CM Yogi Highlights Development and Good Governance

In his address, the Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s focus on development, good governance and public welfare.

He said the government is working to strengthen infrastructure, support the poor and move Uttar Pradesh towards greater self-reliance.

CM Yogi also criticised previous governments, claiming that development works did not progress at the required pace in the past, leaving several areas of the state behind.

He said the present government is prioritising development and good governance and is committed to ensuring that government schemes reach people across Uttar Pradesh.

CM Yogi Calls Ghazipur a Land of National Service

Speaking about the district’s history, CM Yogi said Ghazipur has traditionally contributed to national defence and nation-building.

He highlighted the importance of Gahmar village, which is known for its contribution of soldiers and military officers to the country.

The Chief Minister said the people of Ghazipur have played an important role in the country’s freedom struggle and various national movements.

CM Yogi Criticises Opposition Over Historical Figures

The Chief Minister also launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party and Congress, accusing them of neglecting national heroes while allegedly glorifying foreign invaders.

He referred to Maharaja Suheldev, whom he described as an important national hero, and alleged that previous governments had failed to adequately honour his legacy.

CM Yogi said the present NDA government gives importance to recognising and honouring India’s historical heroes.

The Chief Minister alleged that earlier governments had organised events in honour of Salar Masud while failing to give sufficient recognition to Maharaja Suheldev.

Projects Expected to Boost Ghazipur’s Development

The launch and foundation-laying ceremony marks a significant development push for Ghazipur, with projects spanning infrastructure, public services and welfare.

With projects covering all seven Assembly constituencies, the state government expects the initiatives to improve basic amenities, strengthen connectivity and support economic activity across the district.

CM Yogi reiterated that the Uttar Pradesh government remains focused on development, public welfare, infrastructure expansion and good governance, while calling upon young people and citizens to contribute actively to the state’s progress.
