PNB MoU Offers Additional Insurance Benefits

The benefits include:

  • Personal accident insurance: Up to ₹1.50 crore
  • Air accident insurance: Up to ₹3 crore

CM Yogi Warns Officials Over Damaged Roads

During his Agra visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reviewed development works and the law-and-order situation with senior officials.

He expressed displeasure over the failure to repair roads damaged during the laying of pipelines under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that roads damaged during project work are properly restored by the concerned contractors.

He warned that if restoration work is found to be unsatisfactory:

  • The concerned contractors should be blacklisted.
  • FIRs should be registered against responsible officials where warranted.

The directions are aimed at ensuring better accountability and preventing prolonged inconvenience to residents due to infrastructure projects.

CM Directs Officials Not to Remove Street Vendors Without Alternative Arrangements

CM Yogi also instructed officials to ensure that street vendors and roadside sellers are not removed without proper arrangements.

He directed authorities to provide eligible vendors with designated spaces in accordance with rules and ensure that they are accommodated in appropriate vending zones.

The move is aimed at balancing urban development with the livelihood concerns of street vendors.

Ayushman Card and Pending Hospital Payments Reviewed

The Chief Minister directed the Health Department to expedite the resolution of issues related to Ayushman cards. He also asked officials to ensure the early settlement of pending payments owed to empanelled hospitals, so that healthcare services under the scheme can continue smoothly.

Focus on Proper Use of DBT Funds for Basic Education

CM Yogi also reviewed the implementation of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under the Basic Education Department.

He instructed officials to organise regular meetings with parents to ensure that the funds transferred directly into their bank accounts are being used appropriately for the intended purpose.

The Chief Minister emphasised the need for effective monitoring of government schemes so that financial assistance reaches beneficiaries and delivers the intended benefits.

Scheme Aims to Strengthen Health and Financial Security

The launch of the Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Suvidha Yojana, along with the insurance benefits under the PNB MoU, is expected to provide greater health and financial security to teachers, employees and their families.

With cashless treatment of up to ₹5 lakh, more than 1,900 treatment packages and additional insurance protection, the initiative seeks to strengthen the social security framework for the higher education workforce in Uttar Pradesh.
