Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on Saturday and listened to the grievances of around 250 people who approached him for help.
Despite adverse weather conditions and rainfall, the Chief Minister met people who had arrived from different areas and assured them that the government would provide full support and ensure resolution of their problems.
During the interaction, CM Yogi told people not to worry and assured them that every genuine complaint would be addressed through timely government action.
CM Yogi Directs Officials for Quick and Transparent Resolution
During the Janata Darshan programme, the Chief Minister instructed officials present at the venue to treat every complaint with sensitivity and ensure:
- Time-bound disposal of grievances
- Transparent investigation
- Effective implementation of solutions
- Immediate support for people facing difficulties
The programme was organized at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium inside the Gorakhnath Temple complex due to rainfall, ensuring convenience for visitors.

Land Dispute Complaints Received, Strict Action Against Encroachers
Several people raised complaints related to land disputes during the public interaction.
Some women alleged that their land had been occupied by:
- Relatives involved in property disputes
- Influential individuals and encroachers
Taking note of the complaints, CM Yogi directed officials to conduct proper verification, including land measurement and necessary investigations, before taking action.
He instructed authorities that if any powerful person has illegally occupied land belonging to poor citizens, strict legal action should be taken against them.
Medical Assistance Assured Through Chief Minister’s Relief Support
Some visitors approached the Chief Minister seeking financial assistance for treatment of serious illnesses.
CM Yogi directed officials to speed up the process of obtaining medical estimates from hospitals and forward the cases to the government.
He assured that eligible patients would receive sufficient financial assistance through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund for medical treatment.
CM Yogi Meets People Personally During Janata Darshan
During the programme, the Chief Minister personally reached out to people seated in the hall and listened to their concerns.
He interacted with individuals, understood their problems, and assured them that necessary action would be taken.
The initiative reflected the government’s focus on direct public engagement and grievance redressal.
Traditional Morning Routine at Gorakhnath Temple
During his stay at Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath followed his traditional morning routine.
He first offered prayers to:
- Guru Gorakhnath
- His spiritual mentor late Mahant Avaidyanath
After this, he visited the temple’s cowshed and performed Goseva.
CM Yogi Performs Goseva at Temple Gaushala
At the Gorakhnath Temple gaushala, the Chief Minister fed cows with his own hands and offered them jaggery and bread.
He spent time with the cattle and expressed affection towards the animals as part of his regular practice of serving and caring for cows.
CM Yogi Adityanath’s Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur highlighted the government’s focus on direct public interaction and quick grievance resolution. By directing officials to act on land disputes, medical assistance cases and other complaints, the Chief Minister reiterated the importance of responsive governance and citizen support.
