UP CM Yogi Adityanath Launches ₹604 Crore Development Projects in Etawah, Boosts Infrastructure Growth

Etawah: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 128 development projects worth ₹604 crore in Etawah district. The projects cover the Jaswantnagar, Bharthana and Etawah assembly constituencies and are aimed at improving infrastructure and public facilities in the region.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the state government is working to accelerate development in every district of Uttar Pradesh and ensure better facilities for citizens. He said these projects will provide a new direction to Etawah’s development journey.

128 Development Projects Worth ₹604 Crore Launched in Etawah

The Chief Minister highlighted that the development projects launched in Etawah will strengthen basic infrastructure and improve facilities for residents.

    • Jaswantnagar Assembly constituency
    • Bharthana Assembly constituency

During the programme, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed assistance and certificates to beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes.

  • Certificates under government welfare schemes
  • Tractors to beneficiaries
  • House keys under housing schemes
  • Chief Minister Teacher Cashless Medical Cards
  • Cheques
  • Tool kits for workers and artisans

The Chief Minister said that government schemes are designed to support every section of society and help people become self-reliant.

Etawah Development Remains Government Priority

CM Yogi Adityanath said that the double-engine government is focusing on balanced development across Uttar Pradesh.

He stated that expansion of essential facilities is a major priority, including:

  • Housing projects
  • Healthcare services
  • Education infrastructure
  • Employment opportunities
  • Other basic amenities

He said that Etawah is continuously receiving attention through development projects aimed at improving the quality of life of residents.

₹90 Crore Paramedical Residential Building Approved in Etawah

The Chief Minister announced that the state government has approved the construction of a paramedical residential building worth ₹90 crore.

He said that these projects are important steps towards strengthening healthcare facilities and creating better infrastructure in Etawah.

According to CM Yogi, the development initiatives will help the district move towards a stronger and more modern infrastructure system.

CM Yogi Highlights Uttar Pradesh’s Development Journey After 2017

During his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticised previous governments and said that Uttar Pradesh had earlier faced challenges due to a lack of focus on development.

He claimed that before 2017, recruitment processes were affected and young people faced difficulties in getting employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister alleged that various mafia groups had created problems for people in different sectors.

He mentioned issues related to:

  • Sand mafia
  • Land mafia
  • Cattle mafia
  • Forest mafia

CM Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh has now become a safer state with improved law and order. He added that the state is moving forward rapidly to contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India.

Poor, Farmers, Women and Youth Remain Government Priorities

CM Yogi Adityanath said that his government follows the principle of equal development for all districts and does not discriminate between regions.

He referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of focusing on four major groups:

  • Poor citizens
  • Farmers
  • Women
  • Youth

The Chief Minister highlighted various schemes aimed at employment generation and entrepreneurship.

Major schemes mentioned include:

  • Prime Minister Startup Scheme
  • Stand-Up India Scheme
  • Digital India initiative
  • Mission Employment programme
  • Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana
  • One District One Product (ODOP) scheme
  • Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana

He said that youth from Etawah and Mainpuri receive the same opportunities and facilities as young people from other districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Farmers Welfare and Free Electricity Initiative Highlighted

The Chief Minister said that government policies have benefited farmers across Uttar Pradesh.

He mentioned several farmer-focused initiatives:

  • Loan waiver benefits for farmers
  • PM Kisan Samman Nidhi support for eligible small and marginal farmers
  • Relief policies for private tubewell owners
  • Free electricity facility for around 16 lakh farmers

CM Yogi said that when policies are implemented properly, benefits reach every section of society equally.


Government Promotes Cultural Heritage and Women Safety

CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state government has worked to preserve Uttar Pradesh’s cultural and religious heritage.

Major heritage and development projects highlighted include:

  • Protection of memorials of soldiers
  • Kashi Vishwanath Dham development
  • Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya
  • Maa Vindhyavasini Corridor
  • Naimisharanya development
  • New development plans for Mathura-Vrindavan

The Chief Minister said that these projects have been undertaken without discrimination.

He also claimed that Uttar Pradesh has become safer for women and citizens due to improved law and order.

The Chief Minister said that Etawah is becoming an important connectivity hub due to improved transportation facilities.

He stated that the district should take advantage of its growing connectivity and development opportunities.

CM Yogi appealed to citizens to participate in the state’s development journey and contribute towards building a better future for upcoming generations.

CM Yogi Attacks Samajwadi Party Over Historical Issues

Targeting the Samajwadi Party, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath alleged that the party had ignored several respected personalities and social reformers.

He claimed that:

  • Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was not given proper respect
  • Dalit icons were ignored
  • The name of Kannauj Medical College associated with Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was changed earlier

He said that his government restored the name of the medical college in honour of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

The Chief Minister also highlighted:

  • Construction of a medical college in Auraiya named after Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar
  • Installation of her grand statue at Kashi Vishwanath Dham
