Bulandshahr: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 57 development projects worth more than ₹574 crore in Bulandshahr district, highlighting the state government’s focus on infrastructure expansion, improved connectivity, investment growth and public welfare.
Addressing a large public gathering, the Chief Minister said Uttar Pradesh is witnessing rapid transformation through better governance, stronger security, modern infrastructure and employment opportunities. He said the state is emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing economies with development reaching both urban and rural areas.
Infrastructure Development Driving Uttar Pradesh’s Economic Growth
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said infrastructure development remains the top priority of the Uttar Pradesh government. He stated that improved roads, expressways and transport networks are becoming the foundation of economic growth and employment generation.
He said Bulandshahr is undergoing significant transformation due to better connectivity and infrastructure projects, which will help attract industries, businesses and investments.
According to the Chief Minister, stronger infrastructure leads to faster economic growth, and faster economic growth creates more employment opportunities for the youth.
He said that Uttar Pradesh now has world-class expressways and road networks that are helping increase the pace of development and prosperity.

Yogi Adityanath said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double-engine government is moving forward with a combination of heritage preservation and modern development.
He said Uttar Pradesh has moved from being among the bottom-performing states to becoming one of the top three states in terms of development and economic progress.

The upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar was one of the major highlights of the Chief Minister’s address.
Yogi Adityanath said the airport will become a major gateway for the development of Western Uttar Pradesh and will boost investment, trade, industries and connectivity in the region.
He said Bulandshahr will be among the biggest beneficiaries of the airport due to its strategic location near Jewar.
The improved connectivity with the airport is expected to provide new opportunities for businesses, industries and local communities.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the contribution of Mahesh Sharma in the development of the Jewar airport project.
Ganga Expressway to Provide Major Boost to Bulandshahr Connectivity
The Chief Minister said Bulandshahr, known for its historical importance and cultural heritage, is rapidly moving ahead on the path of development.
He highlighted the importance of the Ganga Expressway, saying the project will significantly improve connectivity for the district.
Yogi Adityanath said the expressway will allow people to reach Prayagraj in around five hours and will strengthen transportation links between important regions.
The project is expected to support economic activities, industries and faster movement of goods and people.
Link Expressway Approved to Connect Bulandshahr with Jewar Airport
Yogi Adityanath said local representatives had demanded better connectivity between Bulandshahr and the country’s largest airport through the Ganga Expressway network.
Responding to the demand, the government approved a link expressway connecting Bulandshahr with Jewar Airport.
He also said that farmers affected by development projects will receive increased compensation.
The Chief Minister said farmers had raised the issue of higher compensation during meetings with government representatives, and the demand was accepted.
He added that the government is committed to protecting farmers’ interests while accelerating infrastructure development.
Bulandshahr Ring Road and Medical College Strengthen Development
The Chief Minister said connectivity in Bulandshahr will improve further with new infrastructure projects.

Yogi Adityanath said that a medical college in Bulandshahr was once difficult to imagine, but today the facility is providing important healthcare services and educational opportunities.
Khurja Ceramic Industry Brings Global Recognition to Bulandshahr
The Chief Minister highlighted the contribution of Khurja’s ceramic and crockery industry, saying it has provided global recognition to Bulandshahr.
He said traditional industries combined with modern infrastructure will help create more employment opportunities and strengthen the district’s economy.
Bulandshahr’s Identity as a Hub of Soldiers and Farmers
Yogi Adityanath said Bulandshahr is among the districts that contribute a large number of soldiers to the Indian armed forces.
He highlighted the importance of Rajju Bhaiya Sainik Vidya Mandir and said the institution will help prepare more young people for defence services in the future.
Calling the district’s identity a combination of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”, the Chief Minister praised both soldiers and farmers for their contribution to the nation.
Uttar Pradesh Leading in Sugar, Ethanol and Electronics Production
The Chief Minister said Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a leading state in several sectors, including:
- Sugar production
- Sugarcane production
- Ethanol production
- Electronics manufacturing
He claimed that around 55% of mobile phones and nearly 60% of electronic products manufactured in India are produced in Uttar Pradesh.
He said the state is rapidly becoming a major manufacturing and investment destination.
Uttar Pradesh Receives ₹50 Lakh Crore Investment Proposals
Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh is moving rapidly towards becoming one of India’s leading economies.
He informed that the state has received investment proposals worth around ₹50 lakh crore, reflecting growing confidence among investors.
The Chief Minister said the government is focused on supporting:
