Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Shamli, Bijnor and Ghaziabad on Friday and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of more than 255 development projects worth around ₹2,500 crore.
During the visit, the Chief Minister will dedicate major infrastructure and public welfare projects to people across seven assembly constituencies — Shamli, Kairana, Thanabhawan, Bijnor, Chandpur, Muradnagar and Modinagar.
Apart from launching development initiatives, CM Yogi will also honour beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes and review preparations for the upcoming Kanwar Yatra in Ghaziabad.
CM Yogi’s Visit to Cover Three Districts and Multiple Development Projects
The Chief Minister will directly reach Shamli from Lucknow, where he will begin his programme by inaugurating and laying foundation stones for projects connected with the Kairana, Thanabhawan and Shamli assembly constituencies.
Across the three districts, the projects will focus on sectors including:
- Education infrastructure
- Healthcare facilities
- Tourism development
- Police infrastructure
- Drinking water projects
- Public service facilities

Shamli to Receive 89 Projects Worth Over ₹581 Crore
In Shamli district, CM Yogi Adityanath will dedicate and launch 89 development projects worth more than ₹581 crore.
The projects will benefit the assembly areas of:
- Shamli
- Kairana
- Thanabhawan
Major projects to be inaugurated include:
- State Tax Department office in Kairana
- Veterinary hospital in Kandela
- Government Women ITI in Thanabhawan
These projects are expected to strengthen administrative services, skill development, and public facilities in the district.
Bijnor Gets 76 Development Projects Worth Over ₹1,003 Crore
During his visit to Bijnor, CM Yogi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 76 projects worth more than ₹1,003 crore.
The projects will cover the:
- Bijnor Assembly constituency
- Chandpur Assembly constituency
Major highlights include:
- Inauguration of Mahatma Vidur Autonomous State Medical College
- Inauguration of Government Nursing College and hostel facilities
- Launch of Kalyan Mandapam construction work on Rambagh Road
- Foundation stone for integrated tourism development at Vidur Kuti site
These projects are expected to improve healthcare facilities and promote tourism development in the region.
Ghaziabad to Get 90 Projects Worth Over ₹868 Crore
In the final phase of his visit, CM Yogi will reach Ghaziabad and launch development projects worth more than ₹868 crore.
The projects will benefit the assembly constituencies of:
- Muradnagar
- Modinagar
Key projects include:
- Unveiling of the statue of former Cabinet Minister Rajpal Tyagi at Tejpal Tyagi Kushpal Tyagi Memorial Degree College, Muradnagar
- Inauguration of barracks at the 47th Battalion PAC Ghaziabad
- Development of a 200-person capacity barrack
- Two additional barracks for 100 and 150 personnel
- Launch of various drinking water projects
- Foundation stone for administrative building of Police Station Bapudham under Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate
- Construction of transit hostel at Police Lines
CM Yogi to Review Kanwar Yatra Preparations in Ghaziabad
During his Ghaziabad visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also hold a meeting with officials from the administration, police, and concerned departments regarding the smooth organisation of the Kanwar Yatra.
He will provide necessary directions to ensure proper arrangements, security, and coordination among departments.
Development Push Across Western Uttar Pradesh
The Chief Minister’s visit highlights the Uttar Pradesh government’s focus on accelerating infrastructure development and improving public facilities across western districts.
With more than 255 projects worth approximately ₹2,500 crore, the initiatives are expected to strengthen healthcare, education, tourism, connectivity, and administrative infrastructure while benefiting residents across Shamli, Bijnor and Ghaziabad.
