The ceremony was held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow, where candidates selected under the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2024 received their official postings.

Transparent Recruitment Process Highlighted by CM

The Chief Minister praised the UPPSC for conducting a fair, transparent, and merit-based recruitment process.

He said that candidates selected through honesty, hard work, and talent are best suited to contribute to governance and development.

He also congratulated the selected candidates and their families on the achievement.

9 Lakh Government Jobs Since 2017

CM Yogi stated that since 2017, around 9 lakh government jobs have been provided in Uttar Pradesh.

He emphasized that the recruitment process has become:

  • Transparent
  • Fair and merit-based
  • Free from corruption and irregularities

He added that only honest selection leads to true progress in governance.

Strong Message on Merit vs Corruption

The Chief Minister strongly criticized earlier recruitment systems, saying that corruption, favoritism, and financial influence previously affected hiring processes.

He said such practices harm governance and push development backward, while merit-based selection strengthens the state.

Role of New Officers in Governance

Addressing the newly appointed officers, CM Yogi said that administrative officials play a key role in implementing government policies and development programs.

He added that the success of governance depends on efficient execution at the ground level.

He advised officers to:

  • Work with transparency
  • Maintain discipline and efficiency
  • Build a strong foundation in the first 10 years of service

Senior Leaders Present at Event

The event was attended by several senior leaders, including:

  • Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya
  • Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak
  • Ministers including Dayashankar Singh, Dara Singh Chauhan, and Om Prakash Rajbhar

Government’s Focus on Good Governance

CM Yogi reiterated that Uttar Pradesh has moved from a “BIMARU state” to one of India’s top-performing states due to reforms in governance and recruitment.

He said the state now focuses on:

  • Efficient implementation of schemes
  • Transparent administrative systems
  • Public welfare-driven governance

Outlook

The appointment of 932 officers is seen as part of Uttar Pradesh’s continued effort to strengthen its administrative system through merit-based recruitment. The government maintains that transparency in selection will lead to better governance and faster development in the coming years.
