According to media reports citing sources, eligible women could receive financial assistance of up to ₹50,000, with the first instalment of ₹20,000 potentially being released before the elections.
However, the proposal has not yet been officially announced by the Uttar Pradesh government, and details regarding eligibility, implementation and the final instalment structure are awaited.
Women Could Receive Financial Assistance in Phases
According to the reports, the proposed scheme could provide financial assistance to eligible women in multiple phases.
Under the reported plan:
- The first instalment could be ₹20,000 and may be released before the 2027 Assembly elections.
- The remaining assistance could be provided after the formation of the next government.
