Air travel is getting expensive by the day, making it difficult for people to take a flight to their destination to save time. Even more worrisome is the fact that the airline companies’ policies are also getting harder and tougher. If you have booked a ticket, then, you cannot get it cancelled in most of the cases and will not get any refund.
Such a case was shared by an IAS officer, that went viral on social media. The 2011 batch IAS officer, Rahul Kumar, shared an airline ticket, where he paid 13820 rupees, and after cancellation, he got back only 20 rupees.
He tweeted, “Please suggest some good investment plans for my refund.”

Now netizens, including bureaucrats, are reacting to it. IFS officer Parveen Kaswan replied, “With this kind of liquidity, you will need extra security, sir.”
