Civil Servants in our country comes from all kinds of backgrounds and have different interests. Republic just passed by a few days ago and on the occasion an Indian diplomat, Subhash Gupta shared a video of a few couplets of his Ghazal.
Some of the lines of Mr. Gupta Ghazal says, “मिटा न सके तहजीब वो जुल्म सितम से, सदियों में बनी हमारी ऐसी शख्शियत है| सींचा हैं पुरखों ने जिसे अपने कतरों से, हिन्दे आईन हम सब की मिल्कियत है”
When translated in English it means, “That tyranny could not erase culture, Such is our personality built over the centuries. The forefathers have watered it with their shears, Hinduism belongs to all of us.”
