In a very simple ceremony at her office, Krishna District Joint Collector, 2019 batch IAS officer Aparajita Singh Sinsinwar tied the knot with Trainee IPS officer Devendra Kumar at her chamber in Machilipatnam Collectorate’s office.
The video of their marriage went viral on social media and the simple ceremony of such high ranking officers has become the talk of the town.
The couple registered their marriage and exchanged garlands at the collectorate office in Machilipatnam in the presence of their friends and colleagues.
While weddings of high-ranking civil servants often involve big celebrations with esteemed guests in attendance, this couple deviated from tradition.
In the video, Ms. Aparajita Singh and Mr. Devendra Kumar look extremely happy as they completed their union by exchanging flower garlands.
Krishna District Collector P Raja Babu and the collectorate staff congratulated the couple.
Mr. Devendra Kumar belongs to Rajasthan and is currently undergoing IPS training at Hyderabad Police Academy, while Ms. Aparajita hails from Bharatpur in Rajasthan. She studied in Haryana and holds a MBBS degree.
