The Election Commission of India has deputed 39 IAS officers as general observers and 20 IPS officer as police observers for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. These officers will be deputed in 39 lok Sabha constituencies where elections are to be held on April 19.
The officers appointed include Abu Imran (Tiruvallur), Kartikey Dhanji Budhdhabhatti (Chennai North), Muddada Ravichandra (Chennai South), D. Suresh (Chennai Central), Abhishek Chandra (Sriperumbudur), Bhupendra S. Chaudhary (Kancheepuram), Sunil Kumar (Arakkonam), Rupesh Kumar (Vellore) and Kiran Kumari.
