New Delhi: India’s defense modernization gets a major boost as the Su-30MKI fighter jets delivery timeline has been officially confirmed. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced that the Indian Air Force (IAF) will receive the first of 12 newly ordered Sukhoi Su-30MKI jets in the financial year 2027–28. 

This move is part of India’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its air combat capabilities amid rising regional security challenges.
