Eco-Warrior Awards 2023: Honoring Excellence in Forest and Wildlife Conservation

In a grand celebration of India’s environmental custodians, the Indian Masterminds Eco Warrior Awards 2023 are set to take place at the prestigious Rang Bhawan Auditorium at All India Radio, Akashvani Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi on the 3rd of November, 2023

This historic event promises to be a star-studded affair, graced by the presence of distinguished guests, senior officials from the Ministry, revered bureaucrats and wildlife conservationists. The evening will be adorned with the presence of dedicated Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers hailing from various corners of the country.

The award ceremony is a two-part extravaganza, comprising a thoughtful conclave and a grand award ceremony.

The esteemed jury panel, consisting of luminaries like Mr. Keshav Varma, Program Director, Global Tiger Initiative at The World Bank; Dr. Rajesh Gopal, IFS (Retd); Dr. Devendra Pandey, IFS (Retd); Dr. Madhu Verma, NGO representative; and Mr. Sharad Gupta, Editor of Indian Masterminds, will meticulously evaluate the nominees across several award categories, including Lifetime Achievement, Wildlife Conservation, Conflict Management, Community Engagement, Coastal Habitat Management, among others. 

Adding to the event’s splendor, the chief guests for the awards night will be Shri Bhupendra Yadav, Honourable Minister of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and Ms. Leena Nandan, Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Additionally, esteemed guests, Shri Rameshwar Teli, Minister of State, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Shri Ashwini Choubey, Minister of State, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, will grace the occasion with their presence.

The event will host a special conclave, featuring panel discussions on pivotal topics such as increasing forest cover, the intersection of technology and environment, eco and sustainable tourism, charting the future roadmap to engage with the youth, and leveraging social media for conservation awareness. These discussions aim to spark meaningful conversations and foster actionable insights that will further the cause of environmental preservation.

In essence, the Indian Masterminds Eco Warriors Awards 2023 stand not just as an event but as a testament to India’s commitment to environmental conservation. By honoring these Eco Warriors, the nation not only acknowledges their efforts but also draws attention to the urgent need for collective action in safeguarding our precious natural heritage.
