11 IPS officers of 2007 batch of AGMUT cadre have been elevated to the DIG rank.
The officers who have been promoted to the rank of DIP are: Romil Baaniya, Ms Geeta Rani Verma, Deepak Purohit and Kime Arya.
While, seven IPS officers presently posted on Central Deputation have been granted pro-forma promotion in DIGP grade. The officers are Vijay Kumar, Ms Meghna Yadav, Surender Kumar, Seju P Kuruvilla, Ms Nupur Prasad, Ms Aslam Khan and Dr Mahesh Chand Bhardwaj.
