The police department of Assam has shifted IPS Anand Mishra as the Assistant Inspector General of Police, (Sports) in Guwahati. He was previously serving in Assam Police Headquarters and has also served as Superintendent of Police in Nagaon.
According to a notification issued by home department Mr. Mishra who is an IPS of 2011 batch is posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Sports), Assam, Guwahati with effect from the date of taking over the charge against the existing vacancy in public interest.
