Delhi LG Anil Baijal orders transfer of many IAS officers

Delhi Lieutenant Governor shifted many IAS officers’ postings. IAS officer Vijay Kumar Bidhuri appointed as CEO of Delhi Jal Board.

Delhi: Officers of many important departments of the Delhi Government have been shifted with immediate effect on the orders of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal. Prominent transfer/posting orders include IAS officers such as the CEO of Delhi Jal Board, Secretary of Health Department, etc.

 Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Managing Director of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has been transferred and appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delhi Jal Board along with additional charge of CEO, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) and Secretary, Health &Family Welfare. Mr. Bidhuri belongs to 2005 IAS batch of the AGMUT cadre. His role of additional charge of Director of the Directorate of Training(UTCS) and has been transferred.

Ashish Kundra, Principal Secretary cum Commissioner, Transport, Delhi Government has also been given the additional responsibility of MD of DTC. Mr. Kundra belongs to 1996 IAS batch of the AGMUT cadre. He is also holding the additional responsibility of Officer on Special Duty(OSD), Department of Health and Family Welfare.

Nikhil Kumar, CEO of Delhi Jal Board, has also been transferred. Mr. Kumar belongs to 2002 IAS batch of the AGMUT cadre.

Deepak Kumar belonging to 2005 batch of the Secretary Services, AGMUT cadre have been given additional charge as directors of UTCS, along with his present additional responsibility of Secretary of Directorate of Training & Technical Education(TTE) and Higher Education and Special Commissioner, Transport.

Delhi Jal Board Finance member, Alice Vaz R has been given additional charge of Managing Director, Delhi Cooperative Housing Finance Corporation Limited(DCHFC) relieving IAS officer Virendra Kumar, belonging to 2006 AGMUT cadre, presently the Special Secretary, Urban Development Department. Ms. Alice belongs to 2005 IAS batch of the AGMUT cadre.
