IAS officer of 1987 batch from Tamil Nadu cadre, Mr. Praveen Kumar has been given an additional charge of the post of Secretary in Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development from 21st December, 2020 to 8th January, 2021.

Currently, he is posted as the Secretary in Ministry of Skill Development.
